Hautvillers, France

Hautvillers, France
While heading to our next destination after Reims, we stopped in a cute little town in the Champagne region called Hautvillers. We drove through the town earlier on our tour in the 2CV and found it charming, but didn't have time to stop so wanted to go back. The town is known for having cool forged iron shop signs. It was also the home of the monk Dom PĂ©rignon who discovered the champagne wine-making process.

Champagne, France
This machine very slowly turns the bottles of champagne. This used to be done by hand every day.
